The audio recordings, transcripts, photographs, texts and content (‘Materials’) of this Oral History Project on this website are copyrighted to the Oral History Project, interviewees, interviewers and various individual rights owners.

The Oral History Project does not levy access fees on our platform to support personal study and use, research and scholarship, educational and non-commercial uses of the Materials. Users may cite, quote, and/or refer to the Materials in their scholarship and research papers without having to write in for permission.

In the event that the User seeks a more extensive use of the Materials including to reproduce, duplicate, circulate, transmit, broadcast, exhibit, perform, publish and/or post the Materials in print or digital media and platforms, the User may write to oralhistoryprojectsg@gmail.com for written permission to do so. Fees may be applicable for usage involving commercial purposes.
This project offers mostly verbatim transcripts of the audio recordings with some portions edited for clarity and readability. This approach adopts the informal conversational style of oral history interviews.

Reasonable attempt has been made to ensure the factual accuracy of statements made during the interviews. We welcome any feedback or inputs in this regard and encourage users to exercise their own vigilance in interpreting oral interviews.

The statements, views and opinions expressed in the audio recordings and/or the transcripts do not reflect or represent the stance, position, views and opinions of the Oral History Project.
